Stalker and MAG portal player for Android TV

Use the portal address and MAC address from your provider and StreamX connects like a set-top box, with automatic session handling and quality selection.

StreamX is a media player only. It does not provide any channels, movies, series or streams. You add a playlist, portal or login that you already have the right to use.

How to add a MAG portal

  1. Open StreamX and open the Profile menu (your avatar, top right).
  2. Choose Manage Sources, then add a new source.
  3. Under Source Type, select MAG Portal.
  4. Enter the Portal URL, for example http://portal.tv/c/.
  5. Enter the MAC Address registered with your provider, in the form 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx.
  6. Most portals work with the built-in defaults. Only if your portal requires specific device details, open Advanced and fill in the optional Device ID and related fields.
  7. Optionally add an EPG URL, then save and sync.

  • Live channels and video on demand from the portal, with the StreamX interface on top.
  • Automatic session handling, so you are not signed out in the middle of a programme.
  • Quality selection when the portal offers several streams.
  • Favourites, search, profiles and Continue Watching, the same as any other source.

A portal is an address your provider gives you that works with a MAC address, the way a set-top box does. StreamX can connect to it with the portal URL and MAC address.

Which details do I enter?

The Portal URL and the MAC address registered with your provider. A Device ID is optional and only needed for portals that require it.
